CAPTIONED MOVIES: Updated: 1-13-2010

 

Hey folks, this is exciting!! We have four captioned movies for you to enjoy and two of them are new to us. What makes it exciting is one of the new movies is "Up in the Air", which was filmed right here in St. Louis. In addition, there is one foreign film available. Here are the details:

Regal's St. Louis Mills - They start off the week with the new movie, "Up in the Air". Ryan Bingham loves his job of traveling all over the country to fire people from their jobs. But soon he is forced to fight for his job as the company reduces it's travel budget. And this comes at the worst time for him, as he nears his ultimate goal of five million reward miles on American Airlines and meets the frequent-traveler woman of his dreams. How will it turn out for Ryan? It stars George Clooney and was filmed mostly in St. Louis. It's rated "R". Show times:
Fri. 1/15 - 1:25 p.m., Sat. 1/16 - 3:45 p.m., Sun. 1/17 - 1:25 and 9:20 p.m.
Mon. 1/18 - 1:25 and 6:30 p.m. On Tues. 1/19 they change to "It's Complicated".
Tues. 1/19 - 4:45 and 10:10 p.m., Wed. 1/20 - 2:05 and 7:25 p.m.
Thurs. 1/21 - 4:45 and 10:10 p.m.

AMC's West Olive - They will show the other new movie, "Leap Year". Anna is in a relationship with Jeremy, but no proposal has been forthcoming after four years. Anna decides to take matters into her own hands and follows Jeremy to Ireland to take advantage of the old Irish tradition of women proposing on Feb. 29. Airplanes, weather, and fate leave Anna on one side of Ireland and Jeremy on the other. By enlisting the help of Desclan, she travels across Ireland and maybe into a truly romantic solution. It stars Amy Adams and is rated "PG". Show times are: They will have the same show times all week and they are:
Fri. Jan. 15 to Thurs. Jan. 21 - Noon, 2:30, 5:00, 7:30, and 9:55 p.m.

Mon. 1/18 - 10:10 a.m., 1:10, 4:10, 7:05, and 10:00 p.m.
Tues. 1/19 to Thurs. 1/21 - 1:10, 4:10, 7:05, and 10:00 p.m.

AMC's Creve Coeur - They too, will show "Leap Year". Show times are:
Fri. 1/15 to Sun. 1/17 - 10:05 a.m., 12:30, 2:50, 5:15, 7:40, and 10:05 p.m.
Mon. 1/18 - 10:05 a.m., 12:30, 2:50, 5:15, 7:30, and 9:50 p.m.
Tues. 1/19 to Thurs. 1/21 - 12:30, 2:50, 5:10, 7:35, and 9:55 p.m.

The foreign film is playing at:

Plaza Frontenac and they will show "Broken Embraces". It's in Spanish with English subtitles. Show times all week are: Fri. 1/15 to Thurs. 1/21 -12:45, 3:30, 6:20, & 9:00 p.m. Be sure to ask your friends and families to patron the movies and visit our website at http://www.stl-cm.org.
